Harvey E. Najim is the founder and former chairman of Sirius Computer Solutions. Najim founded the company in 1980 under the name Star Data systems. In 1997, he renamed his company Sirius, a company he built by providing technology solutions from industry leaders. His innovative business vision led Sirius to become a nationally recognized technology provider.

Mr. Najim stepped down from his role at Sirius in 2015 to devote himself to philanthropy. In 2006, founded The Harvey E. Najim Charitable Foundation. Since 2007, the foundation and Mr. Najim personally have given out approximately $180 million in grants and pledges. Recipients of funds include mostly public charities that advance children’s education, children’s medical treatment, and other children’s charitable purposes.

Najim is an avid supporter of The University of Texas at San Antonio, The San Antonio Food Bank, The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, and countless other organizations in the greater San Antonio area. Since his induction to the Texas Business Hall of Fame in 2010, he had dedicated both time and resources to empowering up and coming business leaders who will use their success to help their communities. He supports the Hall of Fame's Harvey Najim Future Texas Business Legend Award at UTSA and initiated the organization’s first award for early-stage entrepreneurs innovating solutions for those with physical and development disabilities.
